Aaron Waxler (Board Chair)

Aaron is the Vice President of IP Licensing for NXP Semiconductors.  He heads the IP monetization team and is responsible for the value-creation from the NXP patent portfolio.  Aaron has over fifteen years experience in IP.  His previous responsibilities include managing NXP’s patent creation activities, and senior IP associate positions with Time Warner Cable and Philips Electronics where he participated in all aspects of patent practice.  Aaron holds a degree with dual concentrations in Chemistry and English from Brandeis University and a JD from Pace University School of Law.  Aaron is registered to practice in NY, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and before the USPTO.


JEFF IMRICH (DIRECTOR)

Jeff is a leading education consultant specializing in innovation and character development.  He has worked with Beyond Z, Blue Engine and Student Success Network on program strategy and is currently helping Achievement First charter schools design a next generation school model. Prior to consulting Jeff was a Managing Director of Design at Teach For America where he managed a team of designers who developed training on pedagogy, goal setting and student motivation for 5,000 teachers across the nation. Jeff attend the College of William and Mary, holds and MFA from the New School in Creative Writing for Children, and is certified to teach both secondary English Language Arts and Social Studies.

Iba Keita (Director)

Iba Keita is one of the leading youth development coaches in the sport of fencing with experience developing high impact introductory and competitive fencing programs in his home country of Senegal. He has worked as a coaching trainer for the International Fencing Federation (FIE) coaches development program.

Iba brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our board in the areas of program development, youth development he hopes in the future to replicate the Fencing In The Schools (FITS) program in his home country.

Lindsay Stapleton (Director)

Lindsay Stapleton brings is an internationally certified referee, coach and educator who has spent her life working in the sport of fencing and education.

She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2010 and is a fully certified teacher.
